Sorrento Cricket Club has a thriving Juniors section, with teams from U | 10 through to U | 16.
BLASTERS CRICKET
The Club uniquely offers a pathway starting with Milo Cricket program, through to Juniors and into the Seniors where we proudly compete in the Provincial Division.
Many of the club’s players have graduated from our own Juniors program. We hope to strengthen this progression in 2021/22 season.
Our passion and dedication to cricket at Sorrento Cricket Club exemplifies our efforts to provide a pathway for children of Sorrento and surrounds to transition from the backyard to the Baggy Green.
The Sorrento Cricket Club Juniors is a very successful, we concentrate on the development of player skills, matched with a fair play principle and ensuring a lot of fun along the way for players and families.
These programs are run by senior players from the Club and are supported by a dedicated group of parent volunteers.

Formerly Milo Cricket - ‘Woolworths Cricket Blast’ is a great introduction to Cricket and basic batting and bowling skills.
UNDER 10'S
Games are played on a Friday evening between 5pm and approx. 7pm and are a 20|20 matches, players bat in pairs facing three to four overs during batting, and each teammate takes turns in bowling. Inclusiveness, fun and participation form the basis of the Under 10's team.
UNDER 12'S
Games are played on a Saturday morning between 8.15am and approx. 11am , the games are 25/25.
UNDER 14'S
Games are played on Sunday Morning, starting at 8.15am.
UNDER 16'S
Games are played on a Wednesday and Friday evening, 20/20 Games Friday Night Only and Wednesday/Friday Games 45/45 an they alternate every second week.
