Our Club
Sorrento Cricket Club is a family club, welcoming new players to join in and enjoy the game of cricket. The club offers teams from Under 10βs through to Seniors, including Girls U/13 Team and this season we have a Women's Team for the first time in our club's history, and Woolworths Blasters Cricket for the younger members of the community starting out.
The Sorrento Cricket Club competes in the Provincial Division of the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association with 6 Senior Teams and 9 Junior Teams.

Sorrento Cricket Club is located on the traditional lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land where we play our game and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of our First Nations people and are committed to the journey of reconciliation.

π Recent Achievements
Sorrento Cricket Club was honoured as the 2024 Victorian Sport Awardsβ Sporting Club of the Year. This recognition celebrates the club's dedication to inclusivity and community engagement, including the establishment of its first women's senior team and hosting a successful "come and try" day that attracted numerous new female participants. The Club also celebrated winning Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria awards for Community Partnership of the Year.

The club continues to foster a vibrant cricketing environment with 6 senior sides and 9 Junior sides competing in the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association. Training sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with matches played on Various days..
